Kruger National Park

Kruger Park Drives

Self-drive on safari from the Phabeni Gate, a 30 minute drive from Tanamera, into the Kruger National Park.  We recommend a full day to maximize the chance of seeing wildlife and absorb the scenery. With an amazingly rich diversity, the Kruger National Park is divided into no fewer than six ecosystems.  In the Southern region, there are granite based koppies, the ideal location to see rock hyrax, baboon, klipspringer and leopard.  Valleys are home to trees rarely found elsewhere in the Kruger park, such as the Coral tree, Cape chestnut and Lavender fever-berry.  Don’t allow the tarred roads, presence of other vehicles, convenient rest camps, picnic spots and restaurants in Kruger fool you – the Kruger Park is a remarkable reserve offering an incredible experience of Africa at its most wild!
